What They Say

As an emerging studio artist my website has been an invaluable tool allowing me visibility and access to countless professional opportunities. Chris Shuknecht's design was reflective of my professional needs while also being an expertly designed environment that showcases my work without competing with it. The website featured above was designed and developed to be the digital portfolio of Cleveland area photographer, Amy Oppenheim. The site emphasizes her photography through a minimal layout. Development involved XHTML, CSS, JavaScript for client-side presentation and PHP for a custom content management system.

Why Choose Me?

My websites work.
All of my work is based on the idea of progressive enhancement which focuses on the content (the important stuff) to ensure that each project is accessible and usable whether your visitors use a computer web browser or cell phone. In addition, all current work is W3C Web Standards compliant, starting with semantically correct XHTML and made pretty with valid external CSS.
Search engine friendly.
Because each website is built with Web Standards in mind and created with structurally correct, descriptive XHTML, the foundations are laid for a website that is optimized for search engines like Google. Add to this your own page content, and your project benefits from a winning combination.
Personal attention.
Your website, business, and experience are important to me. Because I can remain small, I can ensure that each project will benefit from my personal attention. You are in direct contact with me, not my receptionist, coworker, or answering service.
